Week in Review - ゴジラ Godzilla! Katakana ソンツシ and more

Happy 日曜日【にちようび】 Sunday!

Yumi and I (Clay) had a busy week. Instead of showcasing a haiku or some tidbit of Japanese culture, I thought I'd go through the busyness of the last week. If you missed anything, grab a cup of coffee and let's dig in!

First, on Monday, we learned Japanese with Godzilla.

This lesson breaks down several somewhat famous lines from the original 1954 Godzilla movie.

Also on Monday, Yumi talked about The Phantom of the Opera! (Intermediates)

Whew! We were busy last week. This coming week will be all about getting the next Makoto magazine ready for release. We'll explore a new (well, old) haiku by Natsume Souseki, an anime phrase from 四月は君のウソ (Your Lie in April), and learn all about ヤマハ - it's so much more than pianos!

As always, Yumi and I are grateful for our customers and supporters. If you have any questions about Japanese or any of our products, just hit reply. I'd love to hear from you.
